Christina Applegate was born November 25, 1971 in Los Angeles,
California, the daughter of a record producer and a singer-actress,
Nancy Priddy. Christina made her acting debut when she was only 5
months old in a commercial for Playtex nursers. Although Christina has
studied jazz dance, she started in television series, first in minor
appearances, before landing her most famous role as the kooky daughter,
Kelly Bundy, on the television comedy, "Married With Children."
Viewers watched Christina's character grow up on the long-running
series as the classic
dumb blonde who was always competing with her brother and trying to
outwit her parents. She became a favorite of her fans, and eventually
had a few minor roles in insignificant films, including "Mars Attacks"
(1996) and "The Sweetest Thing" (2002) alongside Cameron Diaz.
