Christina Ricci - Actress
Christina Ricci was born February 12, 1980 in Santa Monica, California.
A direct descendent of an Indian composer, Ghantasala, Christina made
her debut as the swimming girl in Mermaids in 1990 along with Cher
and Winona Ryder. She followed this up with the role of Wednesday
Addams in "The Addams Family," as the glaring, devious daughter of Gomez
and Morticia Addams (1991), and she reprised her role in the sequel of
1993, "Addams Family Values." She played the starring role, still as a
child actor, in "Casper," the live-action version of the cartoon about
Casper, the Ghost. She graduated to more mature performances as she
grew up, including "The Ice Storm," "The Opposite Sex," (1998), "Sleepy
Hollow" (1999), and most notably in "Monster," as the innocent sidekick
and lover to Aileen Wuornos, played superbly by Charlize Theron (2003).
According to Christina, who still appears youthful, "I certainly hope
I'm not still answering child-star questions by the time I reach
menopause."
