Jolene Blalock was born March 5, 1975 near San Diego, California. At
seventeen, Jolene took up modeling, traveling to Europe and Asia. Her
early photographs appeared in Japanese magazines. She was encouraged to
take up acting, first making a few commercials, and then moving on to
guest appearances in such shows as "JAG", that concerned a commanding
officer who could not keep his hands to himself. Nicknamed "Leno,"
Jolene continued to inspire men to not keep their hands to themselves,
and later appeared on "Veronica's Closet," "Love Boat," and many other
shows about the same time.
It was Jolene's role as the Vulcan Subcommander "T'Pol" in the latest
Star Trek series called simply "Enterprise," that made her widely
recognized and popular, and for which she won the 2002 Saturn Award for
Best Supporting Actress. Jolene has also appeared in the NBC miniseries
"Jason and the Argonauts" in which she was cast as Medea, and a year
later contracted for the 2001 miniseries, "Diamond Hunters" alongside
Alyssa Milano. A resident of Los Angeles, Jolene enjoys writing and
athletics, including skating, Thai boxing, and surfing.
