Kate Moss was born January 16, 1974 in Croydon, Surrey, UK. Discovered
in an airport as a teenager (on her way back home from a vacation in the
Bahamas), she signed for photo shoots and ultimately evolved into a
high-paid supermodel.
Of slight build and with hazel eyes, Kate starred as a half-starved
waif, and came up with more than one multi-million dollar contract, with
the likes of Calvin Klein. She and also appeared in perfume ads, with
additional big contracts for Gucci and Fendi.
In 1999, the former sweetheart of Johnny Depp and party-girl, hosted a
BBC documentary called "Dazzled," about the dangers of the fashion
world. Events of 2005 have tarnished Kate's image, and she has a long
way to go before she can make a comeback and re-establish her stature as
one of the all-time notable super-models.
