Marisa Miller was born April 27, 1980 in Santa Cruz, California. A star
athlete in high school, Marisa excelled in volleyball and surfing.
While out surfing near Santa Barbara, she was discovered by a fashion
photographer and she was given the chance to be a model. She appeared
in Perfect 10 and later in the 2001 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit
magazine. This led to a contract with Victoria's Secret Catalog as a
lingerie model, and other contracts with Tommy Hilfiger and Nordstrom.
She also appeared on the covers of Vogue, Fitness, and Shape, and
reappeared repeatedly in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit editions for
2003, 2004, and 2005.
Marisa wants to be a sportscaster and loves all sports. Marisa has
said: "I can pick up any sport pretty quickly -- believe me, I know how
to throw a football."
